WHAT WE DO

Lincoln Home & Design serves the Lincoln, Nebraska area and provides specialized contracting and remodeling services with a focus on historic or architecturally significant properties. Our team, led by European-trained interior designer Eva Prettyman, has decades of experience in design-centric and detail oriented remodeling. From simply helping you pick pillows and paint, to designing and building every minute detail of your home from the ground up, or creating the perfect spot for your business - whatever you need to make your space extraordinary - we can deliver.

New Build

Design & Material Selection

There are approximately one million and one decisions to be made when building a new home. Involve us in the process as early as possible so we can help you make choices at the appropriate time and liaison with your builder, thereby helping to keep your project on-budget, on-time, and with results that will take your breath away.

Home Design

Remodel or Furnishing

Depending on the project, it could include some or all of the following services: In-home consultation, photography and measurement of spaces, floor plans, renderings, scheduling and management of project, meeting with specialized sub-contractors, shopping and sourcing to-the-trade and retail items, handling of purchases and delivery, overseeing final installation, styling of rooms. We can oversee your project from a drawing on a napkin to the final, amazing result.

Consultation

Re-Design or E-Design

Okay, so maybe you are ready for a change, or you're stuck in a design conundrum, and you just need some help moving forward - but you're okay with doing a lot of the work on your own. E-design or Re-design may be perfect for you. Let us ask you a few questions about your situation and we can explain the difference between the two and which will best suit your needs. Perhaps we can provide our expertise and then let you carry out the plans on your own, or you may realize that you NEED us to handle the details, either way - we will be real with you.

Workshop

Custom built furnishings

We will collaborate with our own master carpenter as well as other local artisans and craftspeople to design and meticulously create one of a kind pieces that are perfect for your space, or that bring your dreams to reality. Mass manufactured is great for some things, not ideal for others. When you need something historically accurate, custom made, or just plain special… we can plan, provide, and install it - just don’t expect it to be cheap or quick. “Great things take time, as they should.
